.......and i have to say so far it's completely putting Channel 5's version of BB to shame!

Much more effort put into everything about it.

The house is AMAZING and the housemates seem like a much better chosen bunch.
Also the crowd put ours to shame in a big way! Plenty of good-spirited encouragement for the housemates with none of the instant hating and booing our horrid crowd loves so much.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds but it looks great thus far!

The crowd are in great spirit over there, never heard any boos at all! The host is a lovely MILF, the house is beautiful and it's more in a light humoured manner with some of the HMs. Much nicer atmosphere I must say, but will it be as entertaining?

I watched the launch - loved it! I'll certainly be sticking with it as much as I can. I haven't watched BBAU before, I've seen clips but it looks promising. Sonia is fantastic!

yes for real, its a terrible song, and I hate the current dance music culture. If I wasn't already a massive BB fan, I would have been a bit put off by the adverts.

Sonia Kruger is **** too. Definitely no Gretel, but probably better than Kyle & Jackie O.

I thought the first episode was extremely promising!
I knew it was coming but didn't realize it started today. The timing couldn't have been any better really.

Anyone know how often it's on ? Is it an every nighter like ours or a 3 times a week job like the US one ?

I thought some of it was very cheap, like the graphics. And most of the housemates are too "nice". But i'll still watch.

Stop saying they 'put us to shame'.

Every country is different.

BBUSA is known for it's scripted, soap opera style and game playing.

BBAUS was known for being alot more friendlier and light hearted.

BBUK was always known for being taken alot more well, seriously and for having crowds who boo for no apparent reason.

BBUK is just a nasty hate-fest these days and you can even see the knock-on effect it has on the BB Forums.
For the last two years it's been run into the ground! It takes the piss out of us as viewers by manipulating the show to a ridiculous level and also by showing us so little of what's actually going on in there.

The C5 era BB's are the worst of any of the different countries BB's i've ever watched (UK, USA & Australia).

I totally agree, but the same can be said about the new LF-less BBAU. Plus BBAU highlight shows are only thirty minutes long, so they'll actually be showing even less than C5.

where did you get that from? at least this week all the shows are one hour, with the exception of next monday, which is 1 1/2 hrs.

It did though, production wise, always does. Some elements of BBUK's are better, but generally, production wise BBAUS > BBUK

Wrong about BBUS, not scripted soap opera style.. where did you get that from? BBUS is about the challenges, competitions, the money and alliances left and right.. cut throat. I've watched all season and never seen anything scripted

The producers to rig it from time to time, this season they've already rigged it once in the shape of a "Twist" designed to save a HM they think is great, but is really a ****ty arsehole.
