those madcap republicans are pulling out all the stops to destroy their own economy just to win the white house
admittedly obama has added 4 trillion onto bushs economic disaaster, but at least hes pumped it back into infrastructure, health, industries the unemployment rate is still stuck at 8.2% down 2% in a year but still higher than the 7.8% when he came to power the fact is, obama was right to pump in this money, we tried it 3 years too late, we only did quantitative easing, but obama handed the money to specific areas, like roads, building homes, hospitals and in steel and car manufacturing plants and machinery we were lazy, he wasnt so the down jones top companies are back to 13200 the 2nd highest in 10 years general motors have over taken the japanese as the worlds number one car producer graduates (whom still get grants under obama) 96% of them find employment, only 4% are unemployed 4 million jobs created in 18 months, most of them in small to edium businesses and best of all hes gone after the massive corruption in the corporate giants , he fined mortgage companies $25 billion in february for corruption, british petroleum £37 billion for their spillage and even goldman sachs fined £550 million a few months ago too obama has slashed the public sector jobs too and reduced benefits, hes also slashed the military by a billion, given up the europe wide nuclear defence system, agreed to disarm the US and russian nuclear missiles by 40% over the coming few years, half closed guantanamo bay etc this has saved trillions hes also given affordable healthcare to another 30 million poorest but he needs more economic good news. I genuinely believe IF he can get to the white house, he may finally start to deal with the real deeper issues destroying the planet. No not religion, not reality tv or any of that nonsense, but phenomenal worldwide corporate greed. |

I don't think eigther side are particularly passionate. I don't think Republicans are that excited about Romney, and Democrats are not that excited for Obama.
Obama has been a bit of a damp squib, he's really done nothing to get us Democrats enthusiastic for a second term. I think he was trying to fire up the base with his support of gay marriage a few months ago, but most Democrats think it was pointless because he's not pledged to do anything to get same sex marriage legalized, so it really doesn't matter. I hope and expect Obama will be re-elected, but if Romney wins i won't be devastated. He was a decent governor of Massachusettes, so i don't think he'll be a total disaster as President, certainly no where near as bad as Bush.

I see some British and other foreign press trying to portray him as an idiot, like they did Bush, but Romney is not stupid. He is actually quite capable. Most foreign press seem to think that all Republicans are idiots, like Bush, but they arn't. I don't agree with Republican policies, but they are not idiots. It's a mistake to paint them all as idiots like Bush.

recently a republican (Todd Akin) has admitted that abortion should be banned even in cases of rape. Most of the conservative republicans have distanced themselves from it when in actuality they agree with him. Personally I disagree with abortion except in cases of rape, incest, and child would be screwed or mother is screwed.
Personally I'm tired of a two party system in the United States. If congress (US version of Parliament) doesn't get along soon, I will support a campaign to add a bunch of minor parties to congress that aren't communist or Nazis (Which there are). Because it's also congress's fault not put all the blame on Obama. it's mainly because of the republican dominated in the house of reps.

all Id say about abortion is that the women who get them often complain at a later stage that they felt pressured into having the abortion and didnt feel they were offered any advice on any of the alternatives nor were they given time or information. many regret it forever as do their partners. in some cases they cant conceive again and all theyre left with is the agony of a dead baby
what also does the law and politicans and health employees do about mothers who abuse themselves with heavy drugs alcohol and chain smoking suring late stages of pregnancy? Id also say 6 months is very late in the day, youre killing an innnocent baby there and that baby surely has some rights too. this has become far too much a feminist issue and needs to be discussed again with less hysteria. the political parties should be utterly ashamed of theselves for playing politics with such a delicate matter uk thinks it has all the answers on this it doesnt, Uk has the highest abortion rates , especially for teenagers in all of europe, we brits are arrogant as hell on the issue and it rarely gets discussed in a logical intelligent manner. meanwhile innocent babies keep getting killed at an increasing rate |

will probably vote for Obama(though I am leaning towards voting for neither), but Romney is not as bad as people try to make out and I would not mind him being elected

Out of Obama and Romney I hope Obama is elected. I support the Green Party and will be voting Green, to lend support for and raise awareness of the party. I live in a liberal state so Obama will win it here anyway.

same here. California will go for Obama anyway, so it doesn't really matter if i vote. I do wish we had a real viable Green candidate. IS Nader running again this year? i don't even know who the Greens are running this year, havn't heard anything about it.

Obama has been unspectacular as a president but I think he's the lesser of two evils.

If Mitt wins it would be a tragedy for the world. Mitt is desperately seeking conflict with Iran which would end in devastating consequences.
