I ordered two drinks in Starbucks today, and whenever I'm in there I always make a point of spelling out and pronouncing my name for them because if I don't then 9/10 it'll be misspelt and said wrong when they yell my name out.

So after telling the woman how my name is spelt and said, I thought nothing would go wrong.

But then I get given this:

i hate mine too. because of my accent sometimes when i introduce myself, people think i'm saying kyle..i used to always try to correct them but it would make for awkwardness so i just kind of gave up and let them call me that lol

I know the feeling. I've had the same problem when people call me Neil/Noel etc.

I've never done it but apparently you can just give them whatever word you want and they'll use that as your name and not question you

So can you just say '******' and they'll call that out?

My friend Nadine went in once and they wrote 'Nedee' on her cup, pretty funny
