I like it if I have the money to waste on it but I hate people who have themed birthday parties... fancy dress should just be saved for Halloween.

For my 40th Birthday a good few years ago now, me and my mates got dressed up as sexy witches. My birthday is in January so it made it quite interesting.

Halloween is probably my, to use an Americanism, 'Holiday' of the year. Fancy dress can suck it though.

Although I did used to dress up as a child for it every year. One year as a Werewolf, with my face smeared in gravy browning lol
