None of the group or their university can be named for legal reasons, but we can confirm the men are members of a rugby team. We have distorted the sound on the video to protect their identities.
On the Facebook page of one of the main protagonists, friends brand him a “hero” and he celebrates the nickname chanted in the video.
The Tab understands the video was made last week and its participants sent it among their friends on WhatsApp.

It is not known which one of the team shot the pic and video, and which of them decided to share it.
The clip - filmed in daylight with the window open – confirms what everyone has thought about rugby players for ages.
Depending on who you are, it is either the best thing since Jonny Wilkinson did a massive tackle, or evidence of the murky depths of lad culture.

Rugby teams are increasingly viewed by their detractors as bastions of lad culture, where jokes about rape and extreme initiations reign supreme.
To these critics, this eight second video typifies how many young men now view sex – as a re-enactment of porn to share with their friends on social media.
And it will add more weight to their growing clamour for rugby players to stop being massive dickheads, summed up this tweet, which has no relation to the rugby team in the video:

one of the boys leaked it. The only thing i see wrong with this video is the fact that it's a video and the guys recorded it and sent it around because they were proud. Their sex life is their business, why make it public?

If their sex life is their business, and you're bored by it, then surely it takes more effort to read up about the story, get all the links together and post about it, than it did for one of the group to send the vid to another of his mates, where it probably spread from.

So at the same time what happens in the bedroom is nobody's business but they should also expect to be filmed and have their exploits shared with the world?

Plus there's the issue that they're a sport team representing their university, and even though that university isn't named I can't imagine they'll be too happy about the attention this could bring and the damage it does to their reputation

The 2 points in the first paragraph are not mutually exclusive imo. If you click that article, you can see one of the images is her being roasted by 2 guys, with the video being recorded in what would have been her eye line on a side profile. If she asked for them either to not record it, or to stop recording, then that's one thing, if she didn't, then what on earth was she expecting to happen?

I definitely agree that the university won't be happy, but that's neither here nor there in relation to this story.

But the whole "it's nobody's business" thing sorta loses its strength when they make it other peoples business by filming and sharing it. I'm not saying it should be illegal or anything like that, but it's not really very dignified is it and doesn't reflect very well on any of them

And I think it is relevant considering they will almost certainly be facing some consequences from the university for this
