Default Smoking Area?

I was thinking this was maybe be the smoking area?

With the circled off part the ashtray but then there's no way to empty it plus there is no shelter

Thoughts?

Under the pd only has the spiral stairs, a door and a mirror, no seating..

Yeah plus it would be awkward to empty and theres no lid on it so it would get all wet and yucky

There must be a bin or a bag in that hole, definitely looks like a smoking area.

In the aerial shots we saw, that corner did have a cover that looked removable.

The pod has no windows and plenty of ways for the smoke to get out., i'd used that as a smoking area.

Thats illegal, Smoking areas in the UK can't have 3 walls..

Premises are considered 'enclosed' if they have a ceiling or roof and (except for doors, windows or passageways) are wholly enclosed either on a permanent or temporary basis.

Premises are considered 'substantially enclosed' if they have a ceiling or roof, but have an opening in the walls, which is less than half the total area of the walls. The area of the opening does not include doors, windows or any other fittings that can be opened or shut.

Completely out of order in my eyes I'm a smoker and as much as I hate the smell of smoke inside a pub or where ever, I still think it's against our human rights the way smokers are treated, end of the day a boxed in area should be fine, due to the fact who ever goes into this area is a smoker anyway whats the whole point of just giving us a roof, well out of order in my eyes lol anyway lol stop the smokers rant, it does look like a smoking area and the whole could be an ash tray, we can't see the other side and there could be a shelf underneath to catch the ash and stuff.

I always feel they should make more efforts with the smoking area as most of the HM's usually smoke and that's where the best stuff happens. They should have a smoking snug or something.

That could be both a good thing an a bad thing.
Good because it will allow housemates to smoke anywhere lol. Bad because 2 housemates that dislike each other could smoke on opposite sides of the garden and I would rather them be forced to smoke together in the same area
