If this week was a normal noms week, the pretty boy brigade wouldn't be safe. Face to face protects the big characters. Aaron wouldn't have gotten only one vote in a DR nom scenario and Adjoa wouldn't be up. FTF ensures the weak are nominated and the in kids are safe, that's why they do it.

at this point non-diary nominations are the new normal...

what would be different is allowing nominations to be confidential...
It recent past seasons, even diary room noms have been played back to the house at a later date just to stir the pot

The problem is when they do face-to-face noms the producers clearly think it will cause drama when it does the complete opposite. Housemates make worthless nominations and create cop-out reasons so they don't come off that bad.

With normal nominations in the diary room and in private it results in housemates voting honestly with more blunt reasons.

If the producers really want to ramp up the drama get them to nominate normally then show the diary room nominations two days later to the house (I disagree with that too, although if they want drama that's the way to go).

Atleast they are only putting those with most nominations up.. Any other big brother on channel 5 Joel would be up.

I'm hoping that the face to face noms are just a one-off, but knowing the current production team it'll probably be another series of nominations twists and meddling disguised as 'timebombs'.

Diary room nominations are so much better. I just prefer the whole watching the HMs trying to work out who nominated who and watching them get all paranoid. Just hope they don't over-use face to face and get back to so called "normal nominations".

If diary room noma arengone I'm pissed. They should atleast keep the diary room but show it on TV. Being around the people you're nominating face-to-face could probably be intimidating, So would give the HM's more balls

We're never going to get Big Brother again. Just the same Frankenstein's Monster version of the show until it gets axed. Which will probably be soon.

F2F noms take the sting out of Nick's timebomb - I hope it means that it won't be done alot (or never again this series).
The production just wanted to raise the level of arguments in the house, since they all get on pretty good with each other (yet...).
