Default Do you find arguments entertaining.

I understood the reason behind Marc's fanbase, but honestly, all he brought to the house (excluding week 1) was arguments.

Helen won too so I'd imagine some people do find arguments entertaining, are you one of these people?

There isn't much I find less entertaining than a 5 minute argument about who said what when to who and why.

In my eyes, a great housemate left when Marc stopped being fun and started being a dick but the house has lost nothing but arguments if the recent side to him is anything to go by.

I used to be the same.. Back when an argument happened maybe 3 times a week on c4. 3 times an episode on c5 is so draining to me.

As if that's the only alternative to arguments.

This^^^

This series has been so controlled and manipulated by the production team. I prefer to see natural interactions, but as a society we're becoming conditioned for high drama, it's almost as if the production team seem to think that they know what the viewers want, and therefore go out of their way to interfere and manipulate and this spoils the viewing pleasure of a natural BB.

But then i guess people may get bored of a natural BB, hence the reason for interference, i guess we're too conditioned now to enjoy a normal BB

Do you really think this toilet C5 team have the skills to script the normal BB?... I mean I am quite cynical but I also know how ****ing awful they have been No chance they could. Definitely control the editing and who gets bad tweets and who's nominations get shown but jesus wept, not scripted.

There's lots of people who think this years BB has been over manipulted, this years BB has been a washout!

People have been hand picked on C5 for the last 3 years. At least 75% of them have had media exposure.

But scripted is a whole different kettle of fish. That's what I am rubbishing. Ofcourse they edit it to suit themselves but the script stuff is nonsense.

Sometimes, mostly when there's a reason behind the argument other than 'we're all dickheads'

Not the amount that Channel 5 ram down our throats. They need to find the right balance between drama and fun.

Yes when they're natural and spaced out periodically throughout the series in between nice, funny episodes. The biggest reason why I hated CBB in January by the end of the season - that month was draining.

How can you determine when an argument is natural?

You pick and choose to suit your favourite/hated, yes?

When they don't stem from a task saying that Cristian called Chloe fat in a conversation with Joel or w/e

I'll be honest. I don't know what your referring to. I might have missed that episode but it still doesnt sound scripted...

I think we all do. That's why we watch. So I didn't answer.

None of us watch to see the "happy house" or "pow pow" obviously. Somewhere in between.

I watch to see how people interact in a group. Bickering and the odd flare up that occurs naturally is interesting - setting up housemates like Helen and Marc purposely to wind housemates up, cause anxiety and mayhem etc. is destructive, cruel, disgusting and unpleasant to watch. Placing housemates under unbearable stress and then severely restricting their diets putting them on basic rations most of the time is, imo, unnecessary. BB producers need to be more responsibile for stopping situations before they get out of hand - Marc threw a sofa over with Joel on it for instance on tonight's show and nothing was said. Let Joel or Chloe do that it's a warning immediately.

I complain fairly regularly about the goings on on the house to C5 and Ofcom where I deem it necessary. The housemates should be treated humanely and with respect - sadly his is not always the case. IMO, we can't rule out long term emotional and psychological damage after leaving the show, only time will tell.

I really don't believe BB as a show is relevant for today's TV viewing - not in it's present form. It's no longer an interesting social experiment - it's become embarrassing and if I could I would have the show shut down for good.

Sometimes it's the only way we see what the housemates are really like.
If they lose their temper then they tend to forget their game plan.

The poll needs a sometimes option.
