Worst finalists ever!!
All remaining housemates are boring and dull, not likeable. The worst collection of finalists, which concludes that this year's bb was one of the worst bb ever.

Not when BB11 exists. Only Josie deserved her place that year, we were robbed of one of the best and most unpredictable finals thanks to the worst twist in BBUK history.

Chloe and Sam are the only real bores this year, the rest would be bores in other years but that's only cause this is an average year.

As I have already explained to you in another thread, Danny was a bore but is no longer since in the latter half of this series he's been pretty involved.

Cristian is on the border, I used to think he was the series bore but he did have a few storylines in the first couple of weeks before disappearing, and then he has reappeared sporadically over the last few weeks once taking offence at being nominated.

He has done far more than Chloe and Sam, that much is for sure.

Yes it is one of the worst, im convinced the whole time warp HMs and hotel BB was cause they knew they had a terrible house and badly attempted to inject some controversy in there.

If Helen, Ash, Nikki et al hadnt gone in the last 3 weeks would have literally been so boring, like BB4 boring.

Airtime does not equal entertainment. Just because he's been shown a lot it doesn't mean what he's doing is actually entertaining.
If taking offense to being nominated is what you call entertaining, then well I have no words.

Judging by your favourites, you seem to fall for the housemates C5 milk for all the manufactured controversy. A la Perez and Marc. Might explain why you think BB15 is a good series.

I definitely agree. Quality over quantity. It's why I'll always prefer someone like Hira, who received next to no airtime but was always hilarious when shown, to someone like Marcus or Dexter, who received way too much airtime for their own good and didn't do anything with it.

I still don't understand why they ended the last C4 series of Big Brother like that. A double eviction and a 7-way finale would've been enough. I'd rather watch 7 of them than the 4 bores that we ended up with.

I never said it did, because if it did then that would mean I think every series is always entertaining constantly, and quite obviously they aren't or else I wouldn't complain when it's crap. However, the housemates that are given airtime are usually the people who are providing the most entertainment, bringing the most to the show and are the people the editors believe will create the storylines that will provide discussion for forums, viewers, BOTS, etc. When we had live feed we could obviously cross check the edit but now we don't all we have to go on is the 48 minutes we're given, and quite frankly hypothesising that other housemates ~might~ be doing stuff but just aren't shown is just pointless. We aren't seeing it, so chances are it's not worth watching. Supporting housemates based on an idea that 'hey, you never know they might be entertaining if they were shown!' is just a silly idea that would ultimately destroy the show if everyone took that approach.

Not in the slightest, I've been a fan of housemates who provided drama and contributed to the series for as long as I can remember; John James, Rex, Charley, Makosi, the list goes on. I'm more than aware of the manufactured divides and one vs one storylines C5 seem desperate to create and have made that clear on several occasions, but that doesn't mean that the housemates involved aren't entertaining or good housemates. People may on here may have not enjoyed the Perez/Hopkins storyline but CBB15 did extremely well ratings wise so...

And BB15 was a good series and really underrated. For a start it has the most deserving final two in the history of BBUK (and the first all female one which was completely fitting) so that automatically gives it points, it had messy and hilarious storylines like Steven and Kimberly and other divides like Helen and Ashleigh which split the fanbase, as well as big characters in other ways like Mark, or Toya. It was shambolically produced but not half as much as BB16.

As for taking offence to being nominated being entertaining...well obviously, why wouldn't it be? What could be more boring than them all sitting around and going 'oh yeah guys don't worry about it it's fine! '. Of course they're self entitled twats that need to get over it when they do get nominated, no one's denying that, but I'd still rather housemates get annoyed at being nominated than take it on the chin...of what benefit is that to the show?

It was PEJ's last **** you to the fans and a way to engineer a Josie win, and it still pisses me off to this day. It wasn't so much the quad eviction that was the problem, it was the fact they didn't make it a vote to save (or hell, even a vote to win, we were a week off the final) because that would have rid us of the deadwood that didn't deserve to be there and given us the most unpredictable and deserving bunch of finalists consisting of Josie, John James, Sam and Corin...and Steve, but who cares about him?

I agree they are one of the worst sets of finalists but I don't think this years BB was one of the worst. I only wish Adjoa Eileen and Jade were still in there as they were by far the best of the girls

They were nearly all the same age group....too young....they got along so well for that reason.....it was like a free club 18 to 25 holiday camp with the daddy of the house being Danny and Marc at the ripe old age of 28....how can that ever be interesting ?

The only 3 people who had actually lived an interesting life that didn't just revolve around hair spray and gossip mags were Marc, Jade and Eileen and the viewers voted them off the show

It's not the worst set of finalists but it's up there with the worst it's a bit better than some years like BB13 which was a great year apart from the finalists really let it down. BB12 had really bad finalists also.

BB11 is by far the worst finalist bunch ever though I mean seriously that was horrific

Really? Luke S, Sara, Deana, Adam and Luke A. Deana was the only one who had contributed enough to be worthy of being in the final in my eyes

Luke Scrase probably has the most hilarious story arc in C5 BB and everyone was in on the joke but him, Sara was a fun random and good Deana ally, and Adam and Luke A were righteous and trolled the Insiders a lot. Obviously I would've preferred a Deana win, but it was a perfect set of finalists with the correct fifth place and fourth place, and any of the final three would be a serviceable winner. Like, Luke A as a winner is most definitely a placeholder for Deana, but it's still a much more palatable option than any of the Outsiders winning, and Luke A is probably my second or third favorite winner in BBUK because this show has had awful winners.

Luke S and Ashleigh are probably my favorite showmance EVER because it was so transparently fake and ended up being treated with utter derision by the HMs, by the public, by production, and even by Ashleigh herself in the end. Like, they both entered their showmance equally cynical about it all and by the second half of the series it becomes super obvious that if each were left to their own decides, Ashleigh would much rather be ****ing Conor and Luke S would much rather be ****ing Lauren. This led to an Luke getting buried at almost every occasion and it was an amazing humiliatoin arc, from Ashleigh taunting him that he must have a small penis because he can cross his legs and Conor must have a large penis because he can't, the fact that someone believed Barbell Media was a real thing thirteen series into this show, Ashleigh complaining that Luke smells like onions, the entire fallout of the White Room with Deana drunkenly tormenting Luke for a whole week, etc. I strongly believe that Luke S is the HM who improves the most on a BB13 rewatch.
