We already saw it.
I understand where he was coming from but i think it was the right decision to caution him

Can I get a witness?

He was just explaining himself in the conversation though. I'm not surprised about what the Ofcom fearing production team do at this point but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually did complain because of Scoop.

They could have just not aired it but obviously saw it as another chance to cause controversy

Ridiculous, people constantly rave on about 'free speech' and here we have a guy having a sensible and mature discussion about a sensitive subject and he gets cautioned.
There is no such thing as free speech. |

The Carol warning was just as ridiculous.

So stupid. He was asked as a black person his opinion on the word and he answered. It's a actual interesting conversation even.

It stifles free speech. You've seen one of THE WORST examples now - it's stopped people from even having a conversation that MAY diffuse misunderstanding and misconceptions in the future. Have you(not aimed at the quoted poster, but ANYBODY reading this)ever accused somebody, knee-jerk style, of being "racist", just because you may have overheard them discussing something in a racial context? If so, YOU contributed, albeit in a small way, to THIS situation. |

This was in the last episode. After seeing it in the context of the conversation, this warning was stupid as hell.

I thought Nick's ejection in BB1 was the most controversial ejection ever?

alol I mean there's definitely some racial subtext to Jemima saying that she isn't attracted to black guys but mixed race is okay, and then telling Gina that she should understand bc she probably doesn't find white guys attracted.
And yes, what a surprise, Matthew still sucks. I for one am shocked.

Jessica Meuse was robbed.

And tbh Scoop and James was having an adult conversation that was reasonable at the same time, why does Ch5 want to stifle that on a show based on people interacting with each other?

I didn't say that it makes Jemima racist but saying that you're not attracted to black guys and then immediately following that up by saying that mixed race is okay... like that's clearly ridiculously racially insensitive at minimum.

Again, like I've been saying the truly worrying part to me was how she followed up "I'm not really attracted to black guys" with "well mixed race is okay," as if another race needs to be present to balance out the blackness. Whether or not you find that racist, it's definitely racially insensitive (as is boldly assuming that Gina should understand since she's probably only attracted to black guys.)

Saying you wouldn't go out with a black man then assuming that Gina wouldn't go out with a white man (despite her bf at the time being white) is a bit racist. That's just my opinion on the matter
