I doubt it will replace X Factor since it will probably still air in the same time frame it did on BBC. So The Voice at the start, then BGT, then X Factor each year in that order.

Rumours are that The Voice Kids will air on either CITV or ITV2 as part of the successful bid deal.
I hope they air The Voice USA on ITV2 like they did with X Factor USA ![]()

They'll renew it, it's their best shot against SCD and it's got the premium demographic when it comes to Target Audience. They won't replace it with The Voice, the only reason why The Voice does well is because it has no competition at the start of the year. It would get slaughtered up against SCD and the target audience for it isn't as good.

Well on one hand the pretentiousness from this government is beyond pathetic, but then on the other this show in its current form is diabolical, and dare I say that if ITV get their hands on it and have Simon Cowell involved in the production, there might finally be some entertainment injected into the format
I was under the impression the BBC commissioned two series to take them to 2017 earlier this year though? So this is surprising news |

X Factor won't go anywhere. The Voice will just be at the start of the year as usual, I expect. It'll be the DOI replacement.
They'll have The Voice at the start of the year, that'll lead into BGT and then that'll give way for X Factor with two or so months inbetween each one. |

Yes - Bring him back. I'm not really bothered about watching the show now TBH.

Adam, look at the advertising during tonight's X Factor, I can guarantee you that most of it will be aimed at a teenage/young adult audience.
Also look at the show itself. It's got a heavy Social Media presence, apps based around it and the average age of the judging panel itself is 35, 28 if you take Simon Cowell out of the equation. It's all around the younger audience it's built up because that audience is the lifeblood of the show. When you look at DOI and SCD and the like you'll see a massive difference because their audiences are more general and on the older side. |

They wouldn't replace a show with a steadfast younger following with The Voice which is a show that can't compete in the ratings with ITV's talent shows which is why, from the second season onwards, it aired at the start of the year so it wouldn't have competition. It couldn't compete with BGT, it's not going to do better than XF against SCD. |
