i don't think any information that comes out on either candidate will affect voting at this stage. The reasons for peoples choices are so divorced from anything politically relevant, it's all about dislike for the potential alternative. I can't see it being anything other than close right down to polling day

Oh I still think there's a distinct possibility he's going to win this election, I just thought I'd share this since it seems it'll be the latest thorn in his side in the campaign. If anything it'll probably galvanise the anti-establishment sentiment a lot of his supporters have even more though

Every time we think its over, the Trump supporters leave for a few days then come back,. You'd think this would absolutely be it but I'm still not convinced. Debate this Sunday will be fascinating. Cant see Hillary letting this go but Trump has already threatened to hit her with her husbands indiscretions. Should be one hell of a show. Not sure how much of a debate it will be though.

Laugh all you want, but the last eighteen months have been full of political upsets (a Tory majority, Brexit, Trump securing the nomination) and I don't think this election is wrapped up by any means. I wish it was, but time has taught us otherwise.

I saw a Facebook comment on a Guardian post about this earlier which I thought kinda summed it up, this still won't be enough for a lot of his supporters. It would take a video of him insulting white working class religious men (which must surely exist) for them to finally abandon ship

I wouldn't be surprised when Clinton takes office that more scandals start emerging that similarly tanks her approval rating. Some other tapes (Wallstreet related) came out in the midst of this and it's been buried with this news. Hillary Clinton secrecy won't work in an era of tape recorders, smart phones and cyber hacking. I'm sure with all the digging that has been done by the media and the major parties, they've found some unique gems to keep in their pocket just for the right moment. There's no way Trump can win, and even if Trump were to win, the Republicans would lose in the long-term as it will only further damage their party...

Desperation tactics indeed. The Clinton's have spent millions smearing Donald Trump throughout this campaign. So this little nugget from 11 yrs ago shows just how desperate and scared they are of Donald winning. He is gonna win folks so get used to it!

Let's face it - the majority of men; Married, Single, Gay - have indulged in 'inappropriate' sexually oriented banter at some point in their lives, and to a degree, most of us are sometimes 'social chameleons'; tailoring our behaviour on a superficial level to the specific company we are in and the occasion.

It's particularly ironic, that Trump was 'led astray' and influenced by someone named BUSH, but although we - very conveniently - have not got any earlier footage which would corroborate it, I believe, that this is exactly what transpired.

I believe that obsequious Billy Bush - who was ever so obviously 'brown-nosing' Trump - probably initiated and 'led' the conversation in the distasteful direction of 'Locker Room' banter, and Trump's massive ego got the better of him in responding boastfully.

Analyse the video clip, and you will clearly witness that it is sycophant Bush who is 'making the running' here:

"Sheesh, your girl's hot as ****. In the purple" - referring to Arianne Zucker - and "Yes! The Donald has scored" followed by "Woah. My Man!"

There is then indistinct 'cross-talk' followed by a 'non-committal' Trump saying to Bush; "Look at you, You are a pussy" which is - to me - another way of saying; "Look at you you idiot, you are being such a cont" and is chiding and reproachful, no matter if said in a repressed manner.

There then follows a still more convenient 'distortion' as the 'party' alights - ALL of them males significantly.

Shortly before Trump and Bush alights, Trump speaks about 'tic-tacs and kissing', which - to me - was said in jocular fashion, and even when his conversation turns more distasteful, and he talks about being 'automatically attracted to beautiful women' (which heterosexual male ISN'T?) it is pathetic Bush's 'lewd schoolboy' laughter which is stoking up Trump's ego and encouraging him to continue to 'keep operating his mouth without engaging his brain'.

As for this section of Trump's comments; that (some) women will let 'stars' (and apparently 'powerful' men') do anything, including allowing them to 'grab' their 'pussies', then, as distasteful and sexist as this may be - isn't it the truth?

Taking Trump away from his boastful philosophising, Bush - again - brings the sexist focus back on to the approaching Arianne, whom he can obviously see through the coach windows:

"Yeah those legs. All I can see is the legs".

Sheep Trump agrees, but then changes the subject by talking about Gerald Ford once falling out of his campaign bus - to which Bush does not respond. (probably because the shallow pig does not know who Gerald Ford is)

Upon alighting and greeting Arianne, notice how 'proper' and 'polite' Trump is being, and notice how it is ass-licker Bush who suggests that Arianne gives 'Donald a hug'.

When all three are walking to their destination, it is sycophantic 'match-maker' Bush who hangs back, leaving Trump with Arianne, though Trump keeps a respectable gap between himself and Arianne, and even urges Bush to catch up and walk between them.

When ass-licker Bush obliges, it is Arianne who suggests that she should be in the middle.

Trump's conduct throughout this 'greeting' and 'walk' is unimpeachable and proper, and his 'body-language' is very telling; he is NOT interested in making any type of overtures to Arianne - 'Romantic' or 'Sexual' - and the previous 'banter' is just that -- banter.

Once again, and embarrassingly, it is 'toadie' Bush who tries to - incongruously - steer the conversation to a highly personal nature by asking poor Arianne which of the two between him and Trump she would choose as a date.

Again - though suppressed - Trump tries to interject to spare Arianne embarrassment, but prick Bush persists.

Trump is a putz but all this hysterical OTT 'reaching' over B.S. like this is tedious - in my opinion.

There are far, far, far, more valid reasons why Trump is a poor Presidential candidate, and being 'a sexist pig' is not one of them.

There are plenty of politicians in this country, let alone the USA - past and present - who harbour sordid sexual secrets which would cause national scandal were they to be exposed, not to mention all those who HAVE had their scandalous sexual skeletons well and truly dragged from the closest.

Up to now, Trump - unlike Hilary's better half, ex-President Bill - is free from any real sexual scandals, being a 'sexist pig' apart, and his gaffe here is in allowing his ego to get the better of him when he was being lured by an ass-licking, obsequious twat like Bush, who was trying so desperately to ingratiate himself with Trump.

Bush would be Trump's pimp if 'The Donald' needed his services - something, that I am sure billionaire Trump does not need.

Nowhere on any thread on this forum have I ever supported Donald Trump. Neither have I supported Hilary Clinton, but that's another post.

All I was doing in my post which you kindly responded to Ammi, was pointing out that this 11 year old 'scoop' is nothing to get worked up about, because - apart from the fact that it has been 'conveniently and selectively edited - it tells us nothing about Trump that we did not already know.

I was not defending Trump in the slightest, when I claimed that his 'Locker Room' banter was typical of most other males at some point in their lives, because it is true. Most men HAVE and DO still indulge in that type of talk about women when they are with other men.

I was not defending Trump in the slightest when I claimed that what he said about 'Stars', ie; rich and powerful and famous men, being able to do anything they want to to (certain) women, ie; the type of American women who move in such men's circles HOPING to bolster their own ambitions to be rich, powerful or famous, or even 'snare' such men and marry them, because it is perfectly true - such men CAN do such things to such WOMEN.

From the Hollywood 'casting couches' of the 20's onwards, to late nights having to "work with the boss in the office dear", such women HAVE always prostituted their principles with rich, powerful, famous men, for personal ambition.

'Snatch' grabbing, is NOTHING out of the ordinary when it comes to what is deemed 'acceptable by such types of people - as disgusting as it may be to some other types of people to actually hear this said.

I strongly believe that sycophantic Billy Bush DID lead Trump on, and DID attempt to curry favour and ingratiate himself by stoking Trump's ego and encouraging him to boast.

And I do believe that Trump was raconteuring and 'playing to the gallery' more than actually and honestly relating his current true M.O. when it comes to women.

I will repeat, that in my opinion, there is NOTHING wrong in a man of any age being ATTRACTED to beautiful women - I am 'past my sell by date' but to my dying day, a beautiful woman will ALWAYS take my eye - and Trump is older than me at 70 years old, so whilst he may still be attracted to 'beautiful women', I very much doubt that his sexual appetite has remained the same as it was even 11 years ago, so being 'attracted' and wanting to go further than that attraction, are two very different things.

If you re-read my original post, you will clearly see that I was NOT excusing Trump, I was indicting him, but also indicting Billy Bush.

I was, however, stating the TRUTH as I see it, like I ALWAYS do.
