It just does as you approach 70k posts... like how Tetris gets super fast at level 10... we want to see how badly you want to keep posting and if you can get past all the junk to do it.

Sometimes it malfunctions like that for a user. It has for me a couple of times but eventually it fixes itself

It sometimes does that sometimes when you delete your browsers cache and cookies.
