I think it works, and i think me and my bit of fluff won england the match.

We were both shouting at the telly until hendersons pen miss, then she started all this chanting to the universe...and lo n behold..they won due to her chanting and me stifling my laugh long enough to join in....

It’s basically just a visualisation technique to promote PMA.
Positive mental attitude and goal setting give the human mind motivation to strive.It gets people taking baby steps in the right direction to achieve what they want.Afterall if you wait for good fortune to arrive at your door rather than setting yourself on the right path,It very rarely comes.

The universe stuff is just a way to frame it.
