In regards to this thread, I never said the traditional definition of 'slut' wasn't silly. I said this girl got carried away with herself and what they were doing to the point where she took her own argument to the point she even confused herself.

To clarify, their intent was awesome, this girl not so.

She hits on some good points although she's a bit frantic and all over the place on others.

Nobody blinks if a man sleeps around, he is celebrated for it. Men aren't judged for what they wear like women are. Men simply aren't held to the same standards and they get an easier ride.

Why are men allowed to enjoy sex with whomever but women aren't? It's ancient hypocrisy and something that should have been put paid to decades ago.

To add to this, the post that jumped out most to me on this thread was this one from Northern Monkey (no offense to you NM, I'm sure it was unintentional But bringing it back to what men will think like this is the most important thing or should be in a womans life

Try being a woman I remember years ago one of my best friends boyfriend at the time actually told her that if she had slept with him the first time they went out he wouldn't have asked her out again, I was gob smacked, more so that he'd even say that out loud to her. What a **** and sadly a good example of the double standard in action. Women can't win either, if they were to hold out on sex they'll be branded frigid or a tease.

In the eyes of too many people, sex is something for a man to enjoy and a woman's duty to provide.

That's not as common as you think though and society simply does not judge a man for having sex like it does for women. Men sleeping around are ultimately called 'Casanovas' or 'heartbreakers'. They don't often get condemned like women are for enjoying sex with whom they wish.

It's just denying the reality of it to pretend that men have it just as bad as women do.
