Police in Arizona have begun a sexual abuse investigation after a woman at a care facility who has been in a vegetative state since she nearly drowned 14 years ago gave birth.

A source at the Hacienda Healthcare hospital in Phoenix told the local news station Arizona’s Family: “None of the staff were aware that she was pregnant until she was pretty much giving birth.” They became aware that the patient was in labour when she began to moan. A nurse delivered the boy, who is healthy.

Awful, awful story. How did they not know she was pregnant and only knew when she started moaning in labour? Catch the bastard who did this, lock the rapist up and pray that the child is brought up not knowing about his conception until he is old enough to deal with it.
