Its instinct though. Same as your pregnant fox would kill chickens....they don't eat them all...but they will kill them all in a coop

Its just instinct though, the same as cats killing birds. Don't get me wrong, I hate my cats when they are stalking birds and will stop them if I see it but its inbred in them. Same as foxes killing chickens when they want the eggs. The chickens will not shut up when a predator is stealing their babies.
