this is a common false narrative

Piers got that type of barrage every morning he turned up for work at GMB

I doubt there is a broadcaster working today who gets more vitriol whilst doing a job. After years and years of it I think getting a nasty and false attack from your own team tipped him over the edge.

The best part is that he pretends to find it all "funny" when people rant at him online and call him out, like it doesn't bother him, but we've seen with our own eyes what actually happens when he's challenged so we know he's actually sat getting himself hopping mad whilst writing replies pretending to be chilld/mocking .

I genuinely think people don't understand the pressure elite athletes are under, a lot see sports psychologists, it's very much a mental challenge as well as a physical one. Even professional Dart players see Sports Psychologists some times
