Tbh I honestly don't get why Paedophilia is treated so lightly by this country's justice system either.

It's crazy that you can do more time for being a Drug Dealer than you would for sexually attacking children, that is beyond twisted imo.

I think that's down to the law makers being able to think like a paedo does when they are making the sentencing rules.

There should be more sources, you're right, but It looks like only GB news from the TV networks are covering it at the moment.

Why was it ignored for SO LONG?

Because the council and the police were frightened of coming down hard on the Asian community and that decision and I think that decision worked really well in exacerbating the differences between one community and another. They're never worried about coming down hard in the white working class.

The problem is it can quite quickly become a self-sustaining problem when something is swept under the rug - as the issue immediately becomes people "not wanting people to find out that it was swept under the rug". And then the longer it goes on, the worse that becomes for the sweepers, and the more their motivation to continue to hide it intensifies.
