The weight loss is also admirable. Anyone CAN do it but in reality most people lack the committment to pull it off.

I've been saying that for years Alf . The world's ****ed whether there are shadowy forces helping it get there or not. For me it comes down to this;

For the world not to be ****ed, it would require people (as a collective; more or less everyone in the world) to act selflessly.

... and in my opinion you might as well wait for Superman to swoop down and save us all. It's simply not going to happen. In fact, as we hurtle towards the abyss all I see is more and more naval-gazing and self-interest.
