A Syrian asylum seeker has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of stabbing
six children and an adult in a park in the French town of Annecy.

A man armed with a knife attacked a group of children aged around three
years old at 9.45am on Thursday at a park near the lake in the town, a
security source who asked not to be named and a local official told AFP.

Four children are reportedly in a serious condition with two three-year-olds
reportedly in a critical condition.

A man was also injured in the attack.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin tweeted that the culprit “has been arrested
thanks to the rapid reaction of security forces”.

France’s prime minister, Elizabeth Borne, said she was travelling to the scene
of the stabbings.

No I’m afraid not, we have laws to decide the reasons behind an attack

A parent can kill their child but a court I’ll decide if it murder or they did it because they where not in a stable frame of mind.

This is Western culture now.

The racist, bigots warned us that these things would happen, but we decided that it was a price worth paying to make us diverse in culture and the most self-important thing, it meant that we wasn't racist, bigots, we was the good guys.

Tbf you can't judge a whole group of people off of an individual's actions imo.

Though having said that, I don't get why when immigrants are entering a foreign country, the country in question should be checking the immigrant's history/background, and if anything extremely sketchy turns up then they're not allowed in the country.

This should be common sense for every country, but unfortunately France never seems to learn from previous Terrorist incidents.
