Don't get me wrong, I liked him at times but not at others, and at times I think he over did the part, but if he wanted to be accepted for himself and not 'tits and arse' as he so put it...which I though was a bit of a put down to women ... why did he enter the house in drag?

I get that, but it seems like he is a bit fed up of drag, not that I could blame him, must be a chore getting into character.....AJs face when he said I want your job

I think he’s just over the current “trend” of being asked into things as the token drag queen. He said he turned down master chef for that reason.

Maybe because it's what he is known for the most so wanted to enter as danny the drag artist and leave the house as danny beard once people got to know him. However I knew him more as danny beard anyway as him being a panelist on late and live. Think he wanted the journey. However I thought he would be proud of being a drag queen

ah yeah that is a good point, I suppose you get to a point where you literally do not want to be getting into character, I hope this is a springboard for him as I think he would be a good games show host maybe

…I’m not sure about him being tired of drag as such but I do know that he is involved in doing other things as well in terms of presenting and he has a podcast…I do wonder what the earnings are of a drag queen…I do know that winning Drag Race will have opened a lot of opportunities for him…as it has in being a Late and Live regular and now a housemate…?…but it’s also been discussed on the show, how expensive it is for the queens in terms of their costumes etc which they provide for the show and their catwalks…and that has to be figured into their earnings…also, the prize fund for the UK edition is much less than the American version so expanding out into other areas of entertainment seems like a good career plan going forward as well…

…obviously that’s a question that would be for Danny to answer …(…my thoughts, though…)…it’s a celebrity house and Drag Queen Danny Beard is his celebrity, being a drag queen and winning drag race UK gave him the celebrity that he was asked to join the cast for so that’s how he entered …but it isn’t him/it’s an act…no different to many other celebrities when they’re themselves inside the house…not their celebrity act…
