I kind of want to follow what happens to her after BB especially with all the important life changing events while in the house

Some videos that came up on Youtube. She is certainly trending here. I'd never heard of Jojo Siwa since her Dance Mom days, so this may very well raise her profile in the US, imo…

Notes:

-Kath says she didn't expect that a reality show would be real (lol) and thought she was maybe watching fiction. Turns out what she was watching was truth.

-She felt unsettling, hurtful and felt betrayed by the things she saw.

-She got offline because she couldn't go to her partner.

-The messages she received throughout and before were constant video messages with Jojo having huge admiration and love for her, which "indicated a sense of solidness and trust I chose to believe and get clarify around"

-She thought she'd get on with Jojo in that moment and tell everyone "It's just a TV show. It's all fabricated!" (Wow...)

-She still decided to come as showed up for her partner and hold up her end of the bargain of being in a partner and "being a teammate"

-Instead of it working out as she'd hoped, she said she was dumped at the afterparty with Chris in the next room. She says this part was crazy and starts laughing somewhat.

-"A lot of the things that were depicted were truth.. and I have become collateral in that truth"

-She still chose to believe in her despite all this up until that point

-She says she experienced a version of love-bombing,... particularly being asked to marry them before the social experiment; Being adored throughout behind closed doors"

-She said she feels humiliated... she's not sure it's fact, but that's how she feels...

-On being dumped; "There were confused feelings there and they had realized in the house they weren't the one they wanted to spend the rest of their life with in the foreseeable future.."

-She didn't see any of this coming

-It took Jojo less than an hour to follow through with dumping her

-She has opinions about Chris but won't say it yet

-Says Jojo said she wants to explore independence and "certain feelings"

-Says she is very tired from all the negativity online, etc. She wasn't "met with love" and it wasn't appreciated that she'd made the effort to fly 24 hrs to be there, instead got lots of anger around things like the letter and not wanting to be on TV... "but it's fine, everyone wants what they want from their relationships"

I haven't watched or read Perez's stuff in a long time so this should be interesting.

Notes:

-Perez bitches about them not having to be in CBB as long as he was
-He doesn't care about the partner's pronouns but calling them Girlfriend in the video title (Interesting)...
-Fatshames partner and makes fun of length of their relationship
-He believes it is a "platonic showmance" () … and it doesn't constitute as cheating since he was a "professional reality TV lover" (ouch) …
-Makes fun of Jojo also potentially needing to use they/them pronouns
-Retells a lot of what we already know
-Perez doesn't think Jojo did anything wrong… Kath is 28, while Jojo is just now turning 21 … also because she lives in the US, it was inevitable

This is behind-the-times, it was "bad" 3 or 4 years back but it's largely all fizzled out to nothing and my daughters school doesn't even have an LGBT lunch so time club any more, let alone being some sort of hive of transgenderism . Social media is pushing a fantasy world that doesn't actually exist. 99% of teenagers today are exactly the same as teenagers 20 years ago.

I agree with that, I get the impression Jojo and her mum have a generally close and affectionate relationship which makes some difference compared to people like Britney, MJ, Macaulay Culkin and countless other examples (I saw that Hayley Joel Osment was arrested while coked off his eyeballs recently) which is why on the surface she's not quite as openly broken, but the same mechanism is there - pushed towards performing and fame from WAY before they were old enough to choose for themselves... And I imagine the family income is basically her income (her mum being "full time" momager etc).

Its never a good dynamic to have that much pressure on the youngest person. The "most well adjusted" child stars are the ones that come from a theatrical background, and that's because they tend to have independently wealthy parents and went to private stage schools for funsies and got into acting etc. because they didn't need to work at all to be financially stable.

But he does think that because nobody here in the US knows him, Chris is using her a bit because she is more well-known.

Her ex-partner is 27~28 (don't care enough to find exact age). That's a significant age gap given Jojo's current age, but I bet if Kath were in her 30s, no one would really bat an eye though because she is a woman. It's only a few years difference...

If Chris manages somehow to get her to drop the dancing gay superhero motif and be substantially less cringe, then I'll personally advocate he be given an award of some kind. Defeater of Cringe. That has to be worth several medals, at least.

I did some looking at her newer history and I'm amazed as just how much of a walking meme she is. We didn't really see that in CBB and I'm regretting I didn't research this beforehand because that would've made it substantially more interesting viewing for me. Next time though...
