I do like that he actually knows how to argue and state his points very clearly without getting too deep into the weeds. Democrats need someone like that with actual vocal power and need to divorce themselves completely of all things word salad. The last thing they need is a progressive all caps version of WWE Trump with a side of salad. I don't think it's going to happen, personally... it might be one reason we don't hear much about Vance's plans and how he intends to run because that would just give them much more time to find someone they can inflate to be their own version counter to that...

Presidential campaigns were starting earlier for a time (I do not miss that) and that's a major advantage for an opposition, I think.

It's to set people off who are still upset about the result. That's a very normal thing to do in our very partisan political atmosphere (well maybe less that..., more just a competitive "habit"... most people don't care that much). I haven't seen anything serious about Trump running again in 2028. When we start seeing bumper stickers and actual campaign materials, then I would think that would be the time to be much more concerned...
