The more I read into this the weirder (I’ve got to confess) it seems. I naturally avoid prying and try to respect people’s privacy (no-one likes a notorious gossip after-all) but he’s making bold claims that would surely suggest that he’s been a member (or at least a very involved lurker) since dinosaurs once roamed the Earth and I’m just not buying that he’s not who he says he’s … not.

Hm, but do you think he necessarily wanted other people to know that (since he did send a PM)? It is interesting getting to know who’s who but sometimes things do get said in relative confidence so I just kind of want to be sure this is public knowledge/something that Reaper’s okay with us knowing.

They were more similar at first but Slim went into some sort of mid-forum-life existential spiral (triggered by the trans debate) and came out the other side ... changed.

It's not as uncommon as you'd think. LT actually used to be a preacher (Greek Orthodox I think).

I discovered the forum maybe 4 years ago, but I never join a forum without reading through every thread first. It's been an exhausting few years I have to say. Really quite traumatising in places. Harrowing.
