I am not so sure that boring is the word I would have chosen, maybe uninspired!! there just has not been enough given to this group of housemates for them to be able to do much, now I know that we can all create our own pastimes, but maybe this group just do not have the ability to do anything that does not involve drinking and shopping trolleys. It is about time BBs production team took things in habd and gave them something to do that is both amusing and stimulating for their minds.

I actually think this series is quite exciting in a lot of ways.

Last year, the winner was a foregone conclusion. Everyone knew Brian was going to win from quite early on in the show. This year it is much more open and so it's fun to watch.

Also the nominations have been less easy to predict, whereas last year we pretty much knew it would be Paul + whoever was next on Dean's line of people he didn't "connect" with as much! I think this makes BB3 exciting to watch as well.

The boring bits to watch have been the days when we would have expected them to have a weekly task, which would have made the Sun / Weds / Thurs of the week more interesting too!

In my opinion, each series of BB so far has had its own different aspects to make it interesting......!

I agree kaphc!
I have found this Big Brother really exciting. The winner is not so predictable and each time I am changing my mind.
I bet if we didnt watch Big Brother last year, we would be addicted to this one, its just there are so many differences it is hard to adjust to a new series with different people. Just cos it is different, I dont think it makes it boring.

I totally agree with OwnedByCats. I was away for a few weeks at the start and returned when Spencer was evicted .

I think one of the big mistakes this year is not having more long tasks that bring the group together. I don't think it really works having a live task on the Saturday, although it wouldn't really matter if there were more longer tasks during the week.

Altogether, I still love Big Brother and have enjoyed all 3. I was in Australia and saw the last 5-4 in the house. They seemed a very likeable group of people but they have such a different attitude over there. Nudity isn't really frowned on and there were quite a lot of - erm, how should I put it? - relationships in the house. There was a couple in there (Marty and Jessica) who reminded me very much of Paul and Helen. I thought Jessica was like Helen in particular - blonde, bubbly, a bit ditzy. They had quite a lot of long tasks and Jess said that's how she really got to know some of the other housemates.
