&Markus, but the point being, she still writes them herself. She still sits and puts in the effort. Don't forget she also composes a lot of the music too. I was just using that quote because I feel it shows the relevancy and respect of writing your own material.

Pumpkin Soup was a working title for the song and the record company wanted to call it 'I Just Want Your Kiss' but she found that dull; the song's about leading a boy on, females having power. &&Mouthwash respresents her being an ordinary person, it describes her as a down to earth grounded person, as opposed to some fake tart. lmfao.

Therefore, I think the concept of the songs are quite clever compared to most chart music. It's original. She could've just had her company write something bland like 'I'm just an ordinary girl, I like to drink tea' with a stupidly catchy repetitive chorus like 'I'm an ordinary girl, girl, girl, girl ordinary, ordinary, ordinary ordinary girl, ordinary girl' but instead, she wrote it herself and the result is both clever and unique.

If I like a song then I like a song but I respect the artist more if they write their own songs of course. In fact I dont own many CDs etc by anyone that dont write their own stuff. If they dont write their own stuff I say I like that song or those songs If they write their own stuff then I like the Artist
