Serious question

I am looking at 2011, another no show and yet still people keep banging on about how their particular god is great

not one god did f-all in 2011. this is NOT good enough.

I guess they all sanctioned the Tsunami so i will give them that I guess..

I actually believe in God and I find this such a hard question to answer. I keep thinking and I can't find a suitable explanation.

I do believe he will come back at some point though. Just not in my lifetime.

Do you believe in a god that intervenes in our lives, answers prayers and set's out a path for us, or a god that started the whole process off, before retreating to become an observer?

I'd like to believe in the former. But it's probably the latter that's more likely.
