When I have a girlie weekend with my girlfriends we play music drink wine and do similar things....its harmless fun...its always after a few wines but its what you feel comfortable with and we have a good laugh and we are the best of friends.... I am the more reserved and its usually the same girlfriend that starts it off...but she is so funny and entertaining and it would not be the same without her...

I have a sister like Denise who is only happy when she is the centre of attention, like Denise she can't take her drink and kicks off blaming everyone else for all the ills in her life, it is no joke, thankfully I live in another city now and don't have to see her but she has put her kids through hell as I imagine Denise's children are mortified most of the time but pulled because they love her. Hope she goes tonight.

If I had an auntie like Denise I hope I would love her enough to tell her a few home truths and get her some proper help. I certainly wouldn't be laughing at her or be enjoying other people doing so either. Depression and alcoholism aren't a good mix and a person suffering with both must be deep down very unhappy.
