^ Yeah, we know that - that's why I hate Jade Goody. The vile beast destroyed Britain's best TV show because she wanted to act like she was somebody and couldn't keep her mouth shut, thought she'd go into the house throwing her weight about and it ended up getting the show axed.

I genuinely believe if that race row hadn't of happened, the ratings wouldn't of suffered such a drop - and Channel 4 wouldn't of felt embarrassed about Big Brother, thus wouldn't of axed it.

Yeah she did kill BB but she also ****ing made BB into a monster hit with the BB3 final being watched by 10 million people.

The press attention the show got because of her was emmence.

It's weird, 'cus when you watch BB3 - Alex came across as the biggest housemate? I mean for the first few weeks, Jade didn't do much?

And in BB3 she was horrible then too. Maybe that's why she got so much attention though, yeah.
It's strange, there were alot of great housemates in 2002 - so why she got so much press attention, I don't know?

Jade was front page news everyday from day 1 even though she seemed nice enough first of all the papers had stories of her lesbian crack ***** mum and how jade was a bully. They ripped the girl to shreds.

I can remember one headline was KILL THE PIG with the entire front page dedicated to Jade.

And what other housemate has had this kind of welcome home

it was bb that turned it around for jade she was in the paper as the pig every day,she had become a hate figure grahame norton was channel fours top talk show and he could not stand her but by the end he came to see her on eviction.
i wonder why the change of heart?

I don't see why they wouldn't. CBB8/BB12 were treated as one series since they were one day apart, and the following CBB always has pretty much the same Diary Room. They actually changed it more than most CBBs do by having a new chair. Everyone acts like C5 was lazy by not changing the CBB9 house, but really, I do see how it's any different than what they did on Channel 4.

The public changed their mind about her and grew to feel sorry for her with all the bad press she was getting and the papers then had to do a u turn as they were being accused of bullying i remember watching the report on ITV News at 10 lol

I (the public) changed my mind due to her getting so much bad press. I watched live feed and was not swayed by the edit.

She was just extreme,She was sweet yet argumentative, she was nasty yet adorable, she was undereducated yet endeering and that day she was trying to talk to PJ after that BJ incident and he told her to get away i think the whole nation felt for her.

She was the same in BB3 as she was in CBB and the only reason people hated her that time round was due to the "race card" They forget how sweet Jade was in the first week of CBB when she was good friends with Shilpa and telling her mother off for being rude to Shilpa.

I hated the way the papers printed pictures of her naked commenting on how fat she was and headlines like "KILL THE PIG" made me stick up for the girl.

You could always not read every front page? And when a celebrity dies, its always publicised, thats out of her control. Yet thats a valid reason to hate her?

they paid 200 million to host the show for two years so there not that cheap.
