Default Gatwick Airport has been closed since 8pm last night
over 10,000 passengers inconvenienced because some idiots are flying two drones near the runway.

It won't open until at least 10am this morning

All those flights cancelled, people going on honeymoon, kids going to Lapland, people on their way home for Christmas, and yet unbelievably you have people ringing in saying this is no biggie

Reports are saying the battery's
should only last 40 mins or so on them
so the maybe modified.

Is Daylight now
Police should shoot them down.


Criminals are doing this
it shows they need sort this

Get a drone professional to send another drone up after it, bring the bloody thing down. They'll find out who it is and I hope everyone who's delayed makes a civil claim against them.

numerous drones are being used..they are being sent up at intervals to cause major destruction...it is working.

its someone doing it because they can. I wouldn't be at all surprised if a request for money has been made. I also dont see anything stopping them from disrupting every airport in the country. It wouldnt be difficult as things stand
