My guess is she did not bother about it, and her career was far more important. Now, looking back it's different, but it's just that, lookin back

Yes, she would. It's a huge conversation now, allowing people to discuss their own experiences.

I highly doubt she's going to put any names in the press now as it's unlikely anything can be proven 30 years on.
