Hmm... I thought I made it clear which "seven wonders of the world" must be given but I guess Niamh edited it out of my post even though it wasn't really spoiling anything

and now there's already four people with an incorrect answer.

Bit annoying since I did clarify which 7 I was looking for and now it's too late to give time for amendments, but it was edited out of the post (for silly reasons, IMO)

The "Great Lakes" question, I'm sure I clarified too and as a result has thrown up a lot of weird answers here. I did specify it had to be one of the 5 between Canada and USA, I'm sure I did

this is annoying and I feel like a dick for penalising people for that when I did actually try to warn you but it was edited out against my will because it "might spoil another game" (despite being posted 24 hours+ after the original round was posted...

I've finished counting scores and there are currently:

- 4 incorrect answers for the "Great Lakes" question (including someone who's...named a river...)
- 6 incorrect answers for the Modern Wonders of the World question (people naming natural wonders, or ancient wonders, or industrial wonders)

There are also a couple of other wrong answers that I won't give chance to amend because
a) they're too funny
and b) they're not wrong answers that I could've misled you into giving, really, they're just silly human errors I can't be held responsible for

Now... 6/19 answers for one question is a lot. So I will give a couple of hours opportunity for a quick edit but I can't really allow any more because this is already dragging out. But I'm only doing this because I did give the correct parameters for the question but it was edited out beyond my control.

So...

Blurryface, Barry, Matthew and Tony Montana - you can edit your Lakes answer
Barry, thisisdanny, Cherie, Twosugars, Mitchell and Tony Montana - you can edit your Wonders answer

And to clarify, the 5 great lakes are Huron, Erie, Michigan, Superior and Ontario.
The 7 modern wonders are the Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Petra (Jordan), Colosseum of Rome, Christ the Redeemer, and Chichen Itza.

I'll give you until 6pm to send in a quick amendment

I do think having googled the "Great Lakes" and "7 Wonders of the Modern World" you'd have been careful to make sure to use the right criteria but... yeah I just feel bad because it was clarified but then edited out.

I know the wording of this was a little bit open to interpretation but I think anywhere that was being advertised by big travel reps was fair game, so there were plenty of options. Not many were used, mind...

Again, pretty open to interpretation because it doesn't necessarily have to be a tourist spot, just somewhere quite famous. So I just used the criteria of "if it has a Wikipedia page, it's fair game". Someone was smart enough to use a landmark from days gone by, too.

Question Three: Name a tourist attraction in Rome
Once again, pretty vague, but I think most of us felt safer playing it obvious with this one than with the London option

I guess a pair of you glossed over the word "Europe" here...

In hindsight I should probably have given you a list of valid answers because this was very much "open to interpretation" again, and perhaps one of the "most popular 15" would've been wiser. As it was, though, I had to just pretty much accept any answer as long as it was an African country.

OK so prior to the chance to edit your answers, some included Mount Everest, some random dam, and the Colossus of Rhodes. After a quick tidy-up, though, there was just one wrong'un left.

I remember trawling through google translate to find one that looked unique enough, and I found this one, and I searched it and it came up in google, but I literally can’t find it anymore

I guess this is where I found it? It doesn’t seem traceable to the language so I don’t know why it’s written there unless that’s how it’s written in English? Idk I’m bad at the internet
