I just bought a new all black one, soft, big head, rubber bits. Once every 3 months or so. The TL has Bamboo ones

a more important question is how often do you clean the thing that your toothbrushes sit in

they are full of saliva and germs

I bleach out one once a month

everyone does, but unless you use boiling water for 30 seconds saliva is there and it will run down the brush and into the receptical

as will faecal matter from flushing that sticks to the brush head

no

but an average toilet the brush will be within 4 feet and that is in the faecal cloud zone

At least once a week, sometimes 3 - 4 a week. My youngest likes to use them as toys, or put them in the toilet, or scrub the walls with them, or brush the dog with them... or put salad cream on them... literally if she gets hold of a toothbrush it's GONE and I'm really bad at remembering to hide them, so they've just become part of the weekly shop .

Ugh I used to come home and find my niece messing around with a random toothbrush in her gob. Kids are weird.

Not often enough apparently I feel like I had my last one for like a year or maybe even a bit more... Although I did just get a new one 2-3 weeks ago now. They still always look clean and not-worn-out tho

I do wash it for a while both before & after brushing but it's probably still not good lol

Also we keep vented caps over the bristles of our toothbrushes in case the cats get at them, they are not interested but still prefer to be safe.
