Whilst I feel bad for them, it was inevitable that something like this would happen after that huge celebrity leak around 6 or 7 years ago and it's just... any sensible person must've known this was more of an eventuality than a "risk".

Decriminalise and regulate sure - legitimise, no. People come out of it scarred and broken, including most of those who told themself they loved and were empowered by it whilst they were actively doing it. It's not a legitimate career, and it shouldn't be normalised as an acceptable thing to be doing. By which I mean BUYING sex - I fully understand that most people selling it have reasons for ending up there and shouldn't be judged. But yeah I fully reserve the right to judge anyone who would pay for sex, and in fact I have some strong reservations over whether or not bought sex can ever be considered 100% consensual.

Still doesn’t sound feasible that famous celebrities are selling saucy images/ videos of themselves to the public ...

The images / vids soon be all over the internet and media and there’d be a terribly negative backlash from the general public ... which on turn will badly effect their media rights value
