Yeah I've never really thought about some of the technical aspects of Uncharted 3, although tbf I haven't played it in a long while so maybe it would be more apparent to me now.

I just remember finding the Game fun even if it lacked in originality.

For me with Uncharted 4 it was simple what my problem was, it was Sam's character as he was intrusive to Nate's character, and I found it a bit silly that we had never heard of Nate having a Brother until Uncharted 4.

I do agree with you that 2 & 1 are the best Uncharted Games imo.

And I 100% agree with everything that you've said on TLOU.

if its up for debate then this confirms that the game is finished and ready for release, and their only worry about releasing is the lack of physical sales? I know it's their business buuut I personally think Sony being as huge as it is - and an entertainment company at a crucial time like this - should absorb the cost of the lost revenue at launch and go ahead with digital release.

There's the issue of maybe not being able to get patches out quickly if there are major bugs but it's a straightforward action adventure, not a sandbox, bugs are likely to be minimal, and the same circumstances would apply to Resi 3 and FFVII which both released...

Find myself wanting next gen consoles to go digital only. Imagine games being delayed because some people are ludites who only buy physical copies

They should just go for a digital release, really and then do the physical later.

I think it's their best financial option really and I also don't think anyone who can't get digital will begrudge it, especially if they're refunding physical copies so those who can switch to a digital order have at least most of the funds (tends to be an extra £10).

I mean yes we were all a bit salty when SOME people got FF7 early but I think in general people are happy for others to get to enjoy something even if they can't get it yet? I can't see many people being that annoyed about it. There will be a few crying "not fair" but aren't there always?

Yeah, it was my own fault for panicking and cancelling my physical pre-order. I'm not salty about other people getting FFVII early.

Given how many people want to play the game, there'd be a lot of people picking up the digital version even if they don't usually do digital. If they did as you said and refunded physical copies then that would win a lot of good will with people.

I was watching some gameplay vids the other day and it looks pretty much identical to the first game which is a bit disappointing

It's not hugely surprising given that all of the uncharted games are identical...

Though the gameplay was on form so

. Will come down to the story for me, I don't really play 3rd person shooters for the gameplay innovations. They're all more or less the same

.

Though I did think the same about FPS until I got Doom Eternal... It's nothing like other FPS I've played, it's like riding a rollercoaster with guns. Wheeeeeee!
