I love red kites, they're proportionately more common in this part of Northants than they are in the whole country. You can barely make a short journey without seeing at least one!

I wonder if people know the difference betwixt a rook, raven and crow?

I was told by an old Norfolk boy, if you see a rook on its own, he's a crow. If you see a bunch of crows together, they're rooks.
