Imo I don't get why Forum Members are hating each other on that level? I used to be like that a few years ago but nowadays I personally think it's interesting hearing differences of opinion (unless the opinion is really twisted) but to me I don't get why people on a Forum can't be more civil towards each other? Especially considering we're a dying Forum that needs all of the members that it can get.

There used to be some semi-intelligent debate and good humour, now it's fleetingly rare to see either. It's pretty much tribalism, pig-thick arguments and point-scoring these days and it really is borderline unusable. Frankly the only reason I'm still here is because I'm not dramatic enough to flounce, I'm sat at a PC all day anyway, and I'm frequently looking for excuses to procrastinate .

Honest truth is it's embarrassing to be here at this point, it's like a shameful secret and it's beneath me (that's not being arrogant: it's beneath most people) and I flirt with closing the door constantly. My life is immeasurably different to what it was when I first joined this forum. I wouldn't have one second of time for the way people engage on this forum in ANY other area of my life so I sometimes wonder why on earth I do it here.

It's like trying to kick a bad habit and I can only imagine that at this point, that's how almost everyone here feels?
