Yes it was a dig, but it would have been more sincere had he taken the time to support her in person in the day

I don't think it's particularly fair to suggest that people who don't shape their lives around living close to their elderly grandparents "aren't concerned about them". That judgement would apply to many, many people... not just Royals.

I don't want evidence of an opinion, it was framed as something that is apparent. Yes that requires evidence. If it "seems that way", what makes it seem that way?

A subtle distinction but an important one in an adult conversation

It was well documented when they left they had to amend the website if you recall

How many decent people would miss the opportunity to support their much loved Nan? Not too many imo, its not like he was busy working either

BOTS didn't say "he wouldn't have been on the other side of the world instead of at the ceremony", he said "he wouldn't BE on the other side of the world" implying that he would be (permanently) located closer-by "if he was concerned" (in in turn, that anyone who is concerned about elderly relatives would endeavor to live close to them).

Maybe that's not what he meant but again highlights the need to be clearer .

i dont think i needed to be clearer. If Harry was so concerned by his pervy uncle being close to the queen, he could have taken positive action. He has the wealth and the time to do it. Other people living apart from elderly relatives don't tend to be in such a privileged position, so it's hardly comparable

Harry has nothing to offer the queen his family in this country or this country.

He is a self centred cry baby who is full of sh1t

Right

And just what does the ginger simpleton thinks he can do if she isnt/hasnt?

Bring her home with him and pop her in the spare room

WTF?
Was Harry protecting his grandmother when he deserted her and his country, leaving her to find out 15 minutes before the announcement was due on the news channels?
Was Harry protecting his grandmother when he called the institution she has given her life to for 70 years racist and neglectful? Did he protect her from the months of speculation and damage that interview caused to the Monarchy, all while she was watching her beloved husband fade in front of her eyes on his deathbed? The detrimental effect all that must have had on her health and well - being?
Is he protecting her by bringing out his tell all book in her Jubilee year, taking the focus off it and onto HIM.

Was he worried about her protection when he failed to turn up for her beloved husband’s memorial? NO, he was worried about HIS OWN protection.
What a deluded, arrogant s*** he is. Truly awful.

Love this, a doting grandson you never see William bother with her.

“I’m just making sure she is protected and got the right people around her,”
Says hero Harry, who thinks the UK is so dangerous he was afraid to visit her, until now, when he has a money making Netflix crew on hand.

….and how will you make sure of all that Harry, in the 40 minutes you have spent with her in the 2 years you have been living on the other side of the world, in contrast to those who are HERE, her FAMILY, at her disposal and carrying on with the work of maintaining an institution she has worked her whole life for.
The family must be furious at this deliberate dig, and rightly so. What a way to ‘build bridges’. It won’t happen, because he really can’t control his bile, can he?

Reported weeks ago:

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly set to relocate near Windsor Castle this summer, in order to be closer to the Queen.

This news must have driven Harry to near madness, which perhaps explains his latest crazy utterances.

Their main residence at Kensington Palace is less than an hours drive away Sounds like an excuse to acquire more property. Hopefully they will finally put up some refugees when they move?

Royal correspondent Robert Jobson tweeted: 'Prince Harry says on US TV he is making sure the Queen is 'protected and has the right people around her'. How so? I think you'll find that Prince Charles and Her Majesty's children and William are DOING just that and supporting the Queen, with actions - and not just words.'

And former Conservative MP David Mellor told GB News: 'On came the news about Harry saying his granny needs to be protected and I fell about. This was a real comic turn. The most best-paid comedian couldn't be funnier than that. What is the man on? Or rather what is he off?

It wasn't only his fault, but he and Meghan have made their contribution. Her husbands imminent death, the Oprah interview and all the drama and damage it caused to the Monarchy at exactly the same time, and the Andrew scandal almost certainly would have had a detrimental effect on her health and well being.
No matter what s***y behaviour Harry or Meghan display, you never have a critical opinion of their actions but pick holes instead in members opinions in a pedantic, smartassy manner.
Extremely odd, imo.
