I think the days of the latter are long gone. It’s just about your own personal boundaries and how comfortable you feel giving out personal information with forum members in general. Personally I’m not comfortable doing that because of the way my personality’s set up (it goes without saying that I’m pretty reserved when it comes to things like that) but it’s not borne out of distrust per se.

I don’t know you from a bunch of flowers (green carnations, most probably) - which is kind of ironic considering how people confused me with you when I first joined, but then again I did sign up as a massive troll with more baggage than I care to remember myself - and I’ve only come across you as a mutual regular very briefly so far.
