Default France: Extinction Rebellion activists fill golf course holes with Cement

[Extinction Rebellion activists fill golf
course holes with Cement
in protest against greens being
exempt from water ban in France as
country battles extreme drought
Extinction Rebellion targeted courses
in Vieille-Toulouse and Blagnac

The group said golf was the
'leisure industry of the most privileged'
French residents are banned from
watering their gardens or washing their
cars in some areas, but the golf industry is
except from the nation-wide water ban
Half of EU land is currently under a drought
warning because of heatwaves]

The Magic of Cement
setting overnight.

'This hole drinks 277,000 litres of water a day.
Do you drink that much?']

Just criminal vandals. Just give them 10 years in prison and it might make them grow up.

I imagine many will see this statistic and question why they shouldn't water their garden tonight.

I am biased as a golfer but if clubs can't water their greens then it will go a long way to spoiling the course at what is their peak season

Peoples private gardens being a bit brown for a few weeks is not as important
