Question Carrots are so cheap



28p for a bag in Aldi

I take one out the bag and just eat it as i am cooking, dont peel it -i just munch away

I also buy a bag and throw one out into the garden for the rabbits that visit each day

they go with most meals and dont take long to cook, bit of butter

and plenty pepper

Do you like a carrot?

My mum was a land-girl and cooked for the officers in the war .. every day they requested her specialty - mashed carrots in a huge dish , then add some butter and pepper .
