The English teacher, 55 - who was caught naked in a Big Brother scene she insists was an accident and not for fame - told The Sun she struggled to return to her day-job after being whipped up in the celebrity world.

Penny, who now lives in seaside town Hastings, said: "I was so famous when I came out it was unbelievable.

"The trouble was I didn't really know what it meant.

"I got so many jobs, I didn't really get paid for them, I just went along with them and had a right laugh."

Good to see/hear from Penny again after all this time. Liked her very much in the house.

Back in the days when the first eviction didn't happen until Day 15 so you really got to know the first evictees much more than you did in later series. Wish it was still the same, a week's sometimes not enough.

I remember the storm in the papers over the nudity/her job. Glad she's happy now anyway.

I liked her on the show, a bit cooky, but it was horrible when dirty Stuart tried to make out he was better than her. Where did he get off on that whole situation?

I think she went to Secondary School in the town i now live in. That was the rumour anyway. A Catholic School.
