i've streamed a few games via microsoft/nvidia. It's much less of an issue with full fibre and the max download rate

GeForce NOW works significantly better than the offerings from Xbox Live/PSN I find.

But I don't think that's what the thread was about really, more about ... umm... multiplayer phone games? .

Anyway.

I'm not against a bit of Diablo or the occasional online shooter, but generally speaking I'm a single-player gamer.

I played through a couple of the Halo games with XBox Cloud Gaming and found it to be good.

I also tried out Half Life: Alyx VR game using PlutoSphere cloud service but you have to buy tokens to keep playing. Also you have to re-install each session unless you play extra for storage.

The input latency bugs me in first-person shooters, even with a blazing fast connection, but then again I flat out refuse to play shooters at 30fps and tbh I'd rather not play them under 75fps .

It does work fine for some games though, I'm subbed to Geforce NOW for Baldur's Gate 3 (which is role playing/turn based/strategic so no noticable input lag). Full disclosure... it's so that I can play it on my work laptop when I can't get on the PC .
