indeed very awful

632 to be precise right now the death count so far

a earthquake of this magnitude, last time it happened in north africa, was in Algeria, claimed the lives of more than 2.500 people back then

---------
EU is going to send help to Morocco, first rescue workers and afterwards also helping to rebuild survivors their homes

Both times I went to Morocco the local treated me disgustingly. I have never met such devious people.

Japan buildings are very strong and built to survive an earthquake.
Marocco houses are not as strong at all.

not bad policies by moroccan government i think

not making it too chaotic with help coming in from too many countries but more controlled emergency help

Netherlands government are sending Morocco 5 million to restore buildings, for medicine, food, water however we are waiting doing a national tv broadcast asking public to donate money until we have the green light by Morocco to actually send help
