Why do we only ever criticise the women's clothes? There are plenty of men with questionable ill fitting suits. It's actually pathetic that this thread is filled with people criticising what a woman is wearing.

To use a phrase she's used herself, I think she's scum.

Yes that’s my stance as well

I think she’s a very unpleasant individual and one I find to be extremely irritating

She probably dresses herself but she’s too vain to wear glasses

Absolutely.
It's unnecessary really.

I'd like to apologise, because you and Ammi have made me think hard.

I said in a joke fashion, in response to Mock, that she'd just got up and had to get to Downing street.
I said that and won't delete it as I said it so won't be hypocritical.
I only meant it a joke it was never serious.

Having campaigned with her recently, it would have been something I'd have said to her directly then and I know she'd have laughed at it too.

However it's sad I did say it and it's here among the horrible other acidic attacking her in the main more ONLY because she's Labour.
Had she been a Conservative, little to nothing would have likely been said negatively.

So I apologise.
At 32 years of age, I should know and act much better.
Women MPs, along with male ones too, already get more than enough nastiness directed at them personally.

Plenty of males in politics have had their clothes and/or appearances mocked.

Boris was always mocked for looking scruffy, people talk about Michael Fabricant's wig hair, Jeremy Corbyn's "I just slept under a bridge" style, Jacob Rees Mogg for looking like a Victorian spectre, Farage for looking like a gargoyle...

But in general, male politicians general wear nondescript suits and ties, no-one really notices what they have on unless it looks different in some way.

I've been campaigning with her a fair bit in this election however and she's great fun to have around.
Always supporting the teams and making sure you had all you needed.
Fully appreciating all our efforts.
More importantly making sure we took breaks.

I've really come to like her a lot more in this campaign.
I love how she talks TO you not AT you.
I think she gets a lot of grossly unfair criticism personally.
Although admittedly she doesn't think at times on what she says too.
Tbf I don't have anything personal against Angela Rayner, she seems like she has her own mind, which I respect personally.

And if she's treating people that she's talking to like they're Human Beings, then that's a step up from half of the Politicians that we usually see.

There's nothing wrong with the BIB.

I'll stop now.

I don't believe that you were holding any malice towards Rayner personally.

I couldn't hold malice against her because I have none Mock.

No, I regret the comment even as a joke.
All I've seen as to Angela is she's a decent person.
Even moreso after these weeks of campaigning where she was involved a good number of days in where my team was.

Thank you for that response but MPs have more than enough to deal with as to crazed nutcases threatening them as to harm and their lives.
Without nitpicking on what they wear etc; not nice.

Fair enough.

I think that there's nothing wrong with a few jokes here or there personally, but I do understand where you're coming from.

I'd go one step further than that. Why is the expectation that working class people don't "deserve" nice things.

…one of the things that the brand represents is ‘forever’ clothing and forever clothing will not be the same costing as high street ‘throw away prices’ …I’m glad that with this brand, sustainability is something which Angela and Victoria Starmer are supporting within the fashion/clothing industry…
