A team like Manchester United don't need tactics. They can buy the best players. The best players don't need education on football tactics. They know how to play, that's why they're the best players.

They just need a good man-manager. Someone who can get the best out of them. Make them feel loved, happy and wanted.

Managing a top team like this is easy if you're a good man-manager rather than being tactical.

Manchester United F'd'up getting rid of David Moyes too early.

It was always gonna be a long term project after the legacy Sir Alex left.

I have said for the nearly 20 years on this forum that Moyes is one of the best. You used to think that I was just bias because I am an Evertonian, but I know that MTVN would back me up now. Ain't that right MTVN?

What he did at both Everton and West Ham in this day and age of football, ruled by money was remarkable.

Sir Alex was very close to being sacked by Manchester United in his early days, but they gave him time and he created a dynasty.

You have a shout. Both greats. But Busby was more successful than Shankly and Ferguson was more successful than Paisley. Ferguson was more successful than anyone. He won 13 league champions I think.

Manchester United had lost their greatness by the time Fergie took over. Liverpool were the clear number one club by that time. Everton had a little spell in the mid-eighties. But Manchester United hadn't won the league since 1967 before Fergie took over. Teams like Leeds, Derby and Nottingham Forest had took over Manchester United by then.

They won the odd FA cup, but they were still living on past reputation from the Busby era.

I didn't know that these players were entering a marriage.

Most of the Man Utd players are divas imo, and lazy ones too.

Ten Hag's Football was terrible, and he had about as much charisma as a Zombie out of TWD.

But he is not the main issue at Man Utd, it's the players who can't respect any of their Managers post-Sir Alex.

I feel like it depends on the Footballer and Manager.

For example I doubt that Gerrard got on with every Liverpool Manager when he was a player, but he still always gave his very best for the club.

The same for Rooney at Man Utd.

Basically it comes down to professionalism imo, and it's something that the current Man Utd team just don't have.

Funny you mention Jamie O'Hara, because just yesterday I saw a video clip on YouTube of him chatting with Jason Cundy Chatting about Neville Southall. And O'Hara didn't have a clue as 90 odd percent of the comments in the comments section clarified.

Cundy said that Southall is one of the greatest British keepers ever. Which is a fact. He was the best goalkeeper the World at his peak. Not many British Goalkeepers have been that. And O'Hara was totally dismissive of him. He got totally owned in the comments section, mainly by Liverpool fans who know just how good big Neville was.

Even I know about him and I wasn't even born during his era.
