Aww that's beautiful, I love seasonal outfits like that but I haven't had a chance to get any yet, Halloween is not a big deal over here. When I go to Ireland soon I'm hoping to grab some fun Christmas pyjamas, maybe an elf babygrow or something.

Went to a fireworks display in a village close to me (New Buckenham). It was great... Hot punch, doughnuts and brilliant fireworks. Kids loved it and so did I.

Yesterday I had a rare lazy day. I did some laundry, had a 2 hour nap, walked to the supermarket to pick up wine and chocolate, then sat in the garden with fire pit on drinking my wine and eating chocolate. Was glorious.

Yesterday I went into Bristol to meet a friend for brunch. We then went to the Wildlife Photography 2024 gallery. Then went to the Christmas market for mulled wine and bratwurst.

I got a bit chilly so decided to buy a new jumper.

Up at 4, sat on the couch in tense contemplation, nap at 7:30, up again at 9, got ready for the day, tidied the sitting room, packed a bag to spend the day at the in-law's, had lunch there - a burger and sweet potato chips, had a lovely espresso, now I'm relaxing while the grandparents occupy the baby.

Went to the cenotaph as usual, met my late husbands friends for breakfast, lovely to see them all. We used to meet for lunch but I think they're better just being together after the ceremony, have some drinks, a lot probably, swing the lap and pull up a sandbag, kind of thing. Moving and poignant as always.

Ami he's been crawling and pulling to stand since he was five months old, he's starting to stand unassisted now and is fast as lightning getting around and up and down, cruising holding onto furniture. I'm exhausted. I actually don't mind waking with him at night, he usually goes back to sleep but I want to be in bed for 6 or 7 hours at least, even if I'm not sleeping.
