Any government could pump billions into the NHS, but unless it's targeted, then it's pointless. It's also a fact that the NHS is so big, there will always be problems, there will always be something to complain about. The NHS may well need investment, but unless the metrics for measurement are extremely narrow, it will be seen as a waste
Crippling employers by increasing their NI contributions well always trickle down to affect the working man. There will be less new staff, there will be less pay rises. It just puts a delay in the process rather than it being immediate. I don't believe labour have thought ahead to the next election |
