the whole minerals thing is a scam anyway. Ukraine doesn't have an abundence of rare earths. Also, rare earths are available everywhere in the world, they are just extremely tedious to mine

Zelensky might be right but ultimately you don't bite the hand that feeds you. Starmer and Macron showed all you need to do is suck up to Trump and make out you're enjoying a great bromance and then you generally get what you want

No but it all went wrong when he cut across Vance to undermine his point. You don't really do that in a setting like that which is supposed to be highly choreographed and mainly symbolic, especially not when you are a guest of that country's President. You should have any difficult conversations behind closed doors

Well I would agree, but Zelensky looks exhausted and is under incredible stress, also English is his second language, they accused him of rolling his eyes and shrugging but it looked like he was trying to understand the questions, Trump set him up anyway by making the comments about Ukraine starting the war, that he was a comedian etc.....think they got the outcome they wanted in all honesty...it would have made more sense for Zelensky to have gone in there supported by some European leaders .
